EastEnders spoilers: Nish Panesar collapses, Jack’s job at risk over Denzel assault

Jack has the week from hell on EastEnders next week after losing his temper, plus there’s drama for Nish during his opening episodes in Walford.

Shock collapse for Nish Panesar

Nish hasn’t exactly received a warm welcome home, especially from Kheerat, who’s struggling to be civil with his dad. His reason? As Kheerat reveals to Stacey, Nish was in prison for killing someone who got too close to Suki.

For his part, Nish is trying to settle himself back into the family business, but after a series of awkward incidents, he ends up in a showdown with Kheeat. But once alone, the Panesar patriarch collapses on the floor.

Tuesday’s episode then finds Ash tending to Nish who, while he’s being treated, manages to win her round. But Kheerat later makes a huge decision and decides to reveal all to Vinny and Ash about why their dad was banged up.

Amy and Denzel are caught out

Lily is left feeling concerned when she learns that Amy is planning to sleep with Denzel. But Amy won’t be deterred, and when Jack and Denise go out for the evening, she decides to take advantage of being home alone.

Stacey, though, has picked up on the signs that Lily is hiding something and, after she discovers what the youngster knows, she goes hunting for Jack.

Denzel, meanwhile, arrives at Amy’s and tells her that he wants to take things slowly. But just as the two of them start to kiss, a furious Jack barges in and pins Denzel against the wall. As tempers fray, will Denise be able to defuse the tension?

Jack seeks solace with Sam

In the wake of his showdown with Denzel, Jack gets a call from his boss – he’s been reported for assaulted Denzel and will now be investigated.

As he reels from the information, Jack starts throwing accusations around about who he believes to be responsible. But after venting spleen, he’s left surprised as Sam offers him a listening ear over a few drinks.

But during the heart to heart, Sam leans in for a kiss – unaware that there’s a witness to her actions, who’s filming the incident. And, by the week’s end, both Jack and Denise have received the incriminatory video footage…

Will Jay and Lola come clean?

Martin will be seen chatting up his delivery driver Jenny and manages to secure a date with her.

But when he begs Jay to be his wingman and accompany Jenny’s friend Amber on what will now be a double date, Jay is left with a quandary. Should he and Lola decide to open up about their relationship?

Jay and Lola do eventually confide in Martin, but request that he keeps quiet. But Martin inadvertently then lets slip to Lily, who ends up congratulating Jay and Lola in front of Lexi!

Lexi is furious that they kept this news a secret and warns them that they’re going to have to make things up to her!

Felix and Finlay find a new home

The cost-of-living crisis means that the Taylor/Baker clan are struggling to make ends meet. So, Felix and Finlay decide to relieve them of their financial burden by offering to move out.

By the week’s end, the pair will be seen putting off a potential housemate for Chelsea and then convincing her to let them move in instead. But will they all get along?
