The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) received a report of the fire just after 5pm on Saturday afternoon, June 8, and mobilised three pump appliances to the scene.

A concerned eye witness sent a picture to Edinburgh Live which shows the SFRS and police at the scene on North High Street, Musselburgh, with traffic temporarily blocked from passing.
