East Lothian locals baffled after man spotted 'dragging speedboat' along busy road

Locals in East Lothian were perplexed after a man was seen 'dragging a speedboat' along a busy main road in broad daylight.

The bizarre moment was reportedly captured by several motorists in Musselburgh on Friday afternoon, with a post regarding the boat receiving hundreds of comments on Facebook.

Several images were also shared in the comments which appears to show a man standing at a bus stop with a small white and red speedboat on wheels, forcing traffic to drive around him.

Another image shows the same boat spotted on Musselburgh's Pinkie Road, having been left left next to the pavement with nobody else in sight.

Several users in the comments claim to have seen the same individual earlier in the day pulling the boat on his own in Prestonpans - around three miles away.
