East Lothian motorist ploughs through hedge into field near village high street

A motorist was involved in a terrifying crash that saw what appears to be a Seat crash through a fence and shrubbery at the entrance to an East Lothian village.

A shocked local dog walker shared an image with Edinburgh Live that showed the black car sticking out of buses at the corner connecting Ormiston Main Street with the B6371.

East Lothian officers say that they received reports at around 11.50pm on Thursday May 30 of a one-vehicle crash at the above location.
