East Lothian mum 'unable to get to work' after devastating discovery
An East Lothian family are gutted after their car window was smashed by a suspected heartless vandal.
Emanuela Alletta, 48, said she woke up on Sunday September 22 to discover the damage and smashed glass all over the back seats of the vehicle.
Both Emanuela, who works as a yoga teacher, and her husband, who works as a butcher, rely on the car to get to work, drop the kids at after school clubs and run general errands.

The act took place on Newbigging in Musselburgh overnight between Saturday 21 and Sunday 22.

"I parked the car over night as we live on the street," the mother-of-three said. "We usually always park there and we came out in the morning and the back glass was smashed.
"Nothing was stolen but we rely on the car to get to work. I have to get to different leisure centres and my husband owns a cleaning company so sometimes he uses it for travel as well as for taking the kids to activities.
"This has left me feel upset, angry and powerless. It feels like authorities are not on our side and do not value the communities feelings.
"I called the police today but they will not come out until Tuesday."
