East Yorkshire boathouse hosting spooky Halloween cinema special to raise money for RNLI
An East Yorkshire boat house will be transformed for a Halloween Cinema Special to raise money for the RNLI.
With surround sound and a 21ft HD screen, Bridlington Boat House will show the family-friendly Ghostbusters at 6pm and adults-only The Lost Boys at 8pm on Halloween, Thursday, October 31. Bang Tidy Cinema said the event will be "amazing" as well as raise money for the life-saving charity which doesn't get external funding.
There'll also be "scary characters floating about" and cinema-goers are encouraged to join in too. Children going to the 6pm screening get free popcorn.

The original 1984 Ghostbusters is a Halloween comedy favourite beloved by generations of film-goers. Join Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson and Harold Ramis as they battle the nastiest ghosts at large in New York City.
Another gem from the eighties, The Lost Boys, starring Jason Patric, Kiefer Sutherland and Corey Feldman, is a cult classic with vampire gangs and motorcycles galore.
On social media, a Bang Tidy spokesperson said: "We are teaming up with the RNLI to bring you a one of a kind cinema screening of these mega films on Halloween 31st October 2024.
"We are taking the giant multi-million pound life boat out of its house, filling the lifeboat station with seats, switching on the popcorn machine, turning the lights off on and turning it into a cinema for the evening!
