EastEnders' Actress Lacey Turner Is Engaged

Massive congratulations to EastEnders’ actress Lacey Turner, who has got engaged!

The 28-year-old star’s long-term boyfriend, Matt Kay, popped the question over the weekend and took to his Instagram account to share the happy news.

Ah, we are so excited – and we definitely sense one heck of an East End wedding in the pipeline…

Matt shared a photo of himself and Lacey, who is smiling happily as she shows off her gorgeous ring, alongside the caption: “She said yes …. ooooosssshhhhhhhh #fiance @laceyturner [sic]”.

Fans of Lacey were quick to send their well-wishes, although some were concerned about how her onscreen husband, Martin Fowler (Jimmy Bye), will be taking the news…

It’s been a pretty fantastic month for Lacey, who won the accolade for Best Actress at the TV Choice Awards earlier in September for her role as Stacey Fowler in the hit BBC soap opera.

Lacey beat off stiff competition from the likes of Paula Lane and Jennifer Metcalfe, with the winner being decided by television viewers.

Congratulations once again, Lacey and Matt – we’re already excited for their star-studded big day.
