Yahoo News EastEnders to air a big Bobby Beale twist next week
EastEnders will air a surprise twist for Ian and Jane Beale next week as their son Bobby finally gets in touch from prison.
Bobby was given a three-year jail sentence last year for attacking Jane and murdering his sister Lucy – later refusing to have any more contact with his parents while he is inside.
The couple have since tried to move on with their lives, but will be left shocked when they learn that Bobby has put them on his call list.
This means that Jane and Ian are finally able to speak to the youngster for the first time since his sentencing earlier last year, but what does Bobby have to say to them?
Fans will have to tune in to see how the conversation goes, but the big breakthrough with Bobby coincides with the duo being given more bad news as they learn about Steven's 'brain tumour'.
Lauren forces Steven to tell Ian and Jane about his illness, unable to cope with the burden of the secret on her own anymore.
The bombshell leaves Ian fearing he could be about to lose another child, but how will he feel when he finds out it's all a lie?
EastEnders airs these scenes on Monday, August 28 and Tuesday, August 29 on BBC One.
