EastEnders just aired another harrowing twist in Bex Fowler's ongoing bullying ordeal, as she had her guitar smashed up by nasty schoolgirls Alexandra and Madison.
Music lover Bex (Jasmine Armfield) was left more distraught than ever when the girls – joined by a disloyal Louise Mitchell – managed to sneak their way into her bedroom, where they took their revenge for an earlier incident in the cafe.
Bex was full of optimism at the start of the episode as she vowed to move on from her recent humiliation with Michelle and Preston and focus on her music instead.
With the support of her ex-boyfriend Shakil Kazemi, Bex managed to impress the crowd as she busked outside the tube station – despite suffering a wobble beforehand.
Sadly, her newfound confidence wasn't to last as her dad Martin soon demanded she returned to her duties at the cafe, where she was mortified to bump into the girls again.
As things started to get out of hand, Madison was furious when Kathy ended up spilling hot soup on her – and there were no prizes for guessing who was going to get the blame for the embarrassing incident.
Not only did the girls torment Bex later on, but the situation took an even darker turn when they managed to sneak their way into her bedroom – telling an oblivious Stacey Fowler that they just were paying her stepdaughter a friendly visit.
However, the true extent of their revenge plan quickly became apparent as they smashed up Bex's beloved guitar, as she watched on devastated.
It certainly looks like Bex's ordeal is showing no signs of slowing down, but thankfully her mum Sonia will return to Walford over the coming episodes, determined to put a stop to the bullying once and for all.
Whether Sonia is successful in her efforts remains to be seen, but how much more can Bex handle?
EastEnders continues on Thursday, April 13 at 7.30pm on BBC One.
