EastEnders airs frightening Ben cliffhanger in homophobia storyline
EastEnders spoilers follow.
EastEnders has aired a frightening Ben Mitchell cliffhanger in the ongoing homophobia storyline.
Viewers know that Ben has secretly been attacking homophobes in Walford for weeks, leading to a police investigation. Jay Brown knows the truth, but Ben's husband Callum is still unaware of Ben's recent actions.
In Monday's episode, tension continued to mount for the couple as Ben reeled at Callum's police mural being posted in the Square. Later, both were upset to see the mural was vandalised with homophobic abuse.

As he overlooked the vandalised mural with Jay Brown, Callum confided in Ben's best mate that his husband has become "so angry these days".
Jay nearly told Callum the truth about Ben's quest for vengeance but stopped short as Callum guessed that his partner would "get over" whatever is bothering him in time.
At the same time Ben burst into the garage, gripped with fear and pain. Slowly, he regained that scarily calm composure, slid his hood back over his head and left the garage with a frightening glare.
How far will Ben go for revenge for this hate crime?
The BBC recently announced that Ben's current storyline is leading to scenes that will explore male rape, as part of a collaboration with Survivors Manchester and the Male Survivors Partnership,
EastEnders airs on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One and streams on BBC iPlayer.
