Yahoo News EastEnders' Lola Pearce shares heartbreaking news about brain tumour

EastEnders' Lola Pearce was forced to share the sad news about her diagnosis publicly tonight (November 24).
Lola was diagnosed with a brain tumour earlier this month, and was later told that her illness is terminal.
While Lola's loved ones have been supporting her through treatment, she has been determined not to tell the wider community about what's going on.
Lola was also keen to keep her young daughter Lexi in the dark as well, but had the decision taken out of her hands when the schoolgirl found a hospital letter.

With Lexi struggling to process everything, Lola attempted to cheer her up in Thursday's visit to Walford by taking her on a trip to the zoo.
Lola was still worried that the youngster was angry at her afterwards, and when Linda caught Lexi trying to drink alcohol, Janine made some harsh comments about Lola's parenting.
When Janine's jibes continued, Lola tried to defend herself but ended up having a dizzy spell.
This led a spiteful Janine to assume Lola had simply had too much to drink, causing a furious Lexi to snap.

Horrified by Janine's comments, Lexi told the entire pub what was really going on – Lola has cancer.
Lola then confirmed this by telling everyone that she had a brain tumour but was having treatment and was determined to get better.
Back home, Lexi and Lola had a heart-to-heart, where Lola once again promised her daughter that she won't die.
