EastEnders airs proposal cliffhanger for Suki and Eve
EastEnders spoilers follow.
EastEnders has aired a proposal cliffhanger for Suki Panesar and Eve Unwin.
Tuesday's (August 6) episode saw the couple's romantic storyline crossover with Reiss Colwell's continuing financial troubles.
Eve has been rattled this week by the sudden reappearance of Ayesha Siddhu, the first woman that Suki ever fell in love with. The latest instalment initially saw the two at odds when Eve blew up after hearing Suki continually lavish praise on Ayesha.
Eve turned to Stacey for support, with her best mate suggesting that Nish was trying to stir up trouble by reuniting Suki and Ayesha after all these years.

Meanwhile, Reiss was still under pressure to pay off Phil Mitchell for the money he'd stolen. He was supposed to sell his late wife Debbie's ring but made up an excuse that he'd been mugged on his way to the pawn shop.
Reiss was relieved that Sonia accepted his bogus explanation, so then he turned to trying to pawn the ring.
In the café, Eve overheard Reiss's attempts to sell off the ring and offered to buy it for £2,000. Reiss heartily accepted the offer but was too scared to deliver the cash to Phil so he asked Teddy Mitchell to do the deed for him.
Over at the Vic, Eve showed up to surprise Suki with a marriage proposal using Debbie's ring, as a stunned Ayesha looked on. Will Suki accept?

Earlier this week, EastEnders newcomer Laila Rouass teased her character Ayesha's reaction to watching the proposal.
"It comes out of the blue, and it's going to be really hard for Ayesha to control her emotions," the actor said "She is so overwhelmed by everything that's happening and how she feels about Suki having seen her again for the first time in so many years. So it's going to be a very pivotal moment for Ayesha, that's for sure."
EastEnders airs on Mondays - Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast.
