EastEnders aired a surprise return for TJ Spraggan tonight (January 18) as the mystery surrounding Tiffany Butcher continued.
An older-looking George Sargeant reprised his role as Terry's son TJ, having not been seen on screen since he left with his family in 2014.
TJ arrived back in Walford to meet up with Whitney, amid her attempts to find out what is really going on with her troublesome sister Tiffany (Maisie Smith).
Tiffany has told multiple lies since returning to Walford, leaving Whitney struggling to work out the real reason she doesn't want to return to Milton Keynes.
Determined to get answers once and for all, Whitney met with TJ tonight, where she questioned him on why Tiffany would make up so many awful stories.
TJ wasn't particularly forthcoming when it came to helping Whitney solve the mystery – instead insisting that this was just typical Tiffany behaviour.
Whitney was left frustrated by TJ's lack of concern regarding the youngster, but the pair soon had bigger problems to contend with when Tiffany vanished.
Tiffany fled from the Fowlers' after realising TJ was there, and later appeared to be getting herself into a dangerous situation when she met up with an older guy away from the Square.
Fans will have to tune in tomorrow to see how this latest Tiffany twist unravels, but does TJ know more than he's letting on about what's going on with her?
EastEnders continues tomorrow night (January 19) at 8pm on BBC One.
