EastEnders schoolgirl Bernadette Taylor will make a move on Shakil Kazemi next week in the aftermath of her tragic baby loss.
The Taylors were left devastated when Bernadette suffered a late miscarriage earlier this month, and the grieving schoolgirl will continue to struggle with her loss in upcoming scenes.
With Karen and Keanu still desperate to find money, they are left distracted when Bernadette unexpectedly returns home from school completely distraught.
Bernadette's obvious distress distracts Karen from her dealings with a loan shark as she realises just how much her daughter is struggling with everything that's happened.
Desperate to help her daughter, Karen opens up about a painful memory from the past, but it seems that it's Callum who Bernadette really needs when she makes contact with him later.
When Karen heads out for the evening, Bernadette takes advantage of her absence and arranges to see Callum – only to be left devastated when he refuses to meet her.
Feeling more alone than ever, a struggling Bernadette makes a move on her brother's friend Shakil – just as Keegan walks in and catches them.
Given Keegan's nasty temper, Shakil has some serious explaining to do if he wants to stay out of trouble. But as Shakil denies making a move on Bernadette, will Keegan believe him? Or is their friendship over for good?
