EastEnders' Billy Mitchell is left fearing that he could lose his funeral parlour business next week after a huge tax blunder.

Billy (Perry Fenwick) is panic-stricken when he learns there will be a tax audit on the business imminently and confesses to Jay Brown that he hasn't been doing his taxes properly.

As Billy nervously prepares for the tax inspection, it's his wife Honey who threatens to catch him out when she stumbles across some old, unaccounted-for invoices.

Billy is quick to cover as he tells Honey the auditors are already aware of this, but is left torn afterwards over whether he should have just told the truth.

Rattled with guilt over his dishonesty, Billy later hands over the invoices to the tax auditors – assuring them that it was a genuine mistake and won't happen again.

Sadly, Billy's honesty comes back to bite him as he is alarmed to discover that he will have to pay them back a substantial amount of money – which will leave the business in serious debt. Is Billy in big trouble?
