Yahoo News EastEnders' Martin Fowler gets a nasty shock tonight
EastEnders' Martin Fowler will get a nasty shock when he's reunited with his wife Stacey tonight (September 25) after a short stint in prison.
Martin (James Bye) was recently sentenced to a two-week jail sentence for assaulting a prison officer amid the gas explosion panic.
However, Martin is unaware that Stacey (Lacey Turner) has been given some life-changing news in his absence after learning that her young son Arthur could have inherited Brugada syndrome from his biological dad Kush Kazemi.
As recent events continue to take their toll on a stressed Stacey, she will find herself coming to blows with Carmel when she interferes in Monday's scenes.
Carmel will decide to check in on her grandson Arthur at a rather inconvenient time considering that his sister Lily is misbehaving and Stacey is at the end of her tether.
After witnessing Stacey lose her temper with Lily, Carmel is (as ever) unable to keep quiet about her concerns and ends up overstepping the line – leading to a huge fight between the two women.
Furious, Stacey wastes no time in dragging Carmel out of the house, but gets a shock when Martin unexpectedly returns home and witnesses all the commotion.
Martin will undoubtedly need an explanation from Stacey as to what's been going on, but something sadly tells us that this is just the beginning of their problems...
EastEnders airs these scenes on Monday, September 25 at 8pm on BBC One.
