EastEnders hints at big Mitchell drama next week as Mel Owen drags teenager Louise into her ongoing scheming.
Mel (Tamzin Outhwaite) has recently returned to Walford, with the sole intention of tracking down the missing cash that Ciara Maguire is demanding.
Under pressure from Ciara to move quicker, Mel will be forced to up her game next week as she continues to search for answers on who could have taken it.
Aware she's running out of time, Mel is given a new idea when she reunites with Louise – who is the daughter of her old friend Lisa Fowler.
Louise is delighted to see Mel back in the Square, but remains unaware of her dark ulterior motives as the pair catch up.
While chatting to Louise, Mel does her best to get as much information from the schoolgirl as possible – even manipulating her into taking her back to the Mitchells'.
Once alone in the house, Mel starts to snoop around for more clues, but is stopped in her tracks when Sharon returns home unexpectedly.
Smelling a rat, Sharon immediately questions Mel on what's going on – but will Mel be forced to reveal all? And how will Sharon react if she does?
EastEnders airs these scenes on Friday, February 2 at 8pm on BBC One.
