EastEnders' Stacey Slater has seemingly been forced to close the page on her marriage once and for all, in order to bail out her scheming gran Big Mo.

Big Mo (Laila Morse) has been nothing but trouble for her family since returning to Walford, first faking Kat Moon's (Jessie Wallace) death and later admitting she'd lied in order to pay off a £5,000 debt.

Her constant scheming has left the Slaters with few friends in Albert Square, making the atmosphere especially frosty in Thursday's episode (March 29) when Stacey (Lacey Turner) gathered everyone together to explain what was really going on.

Before the town meeting, Stacey and Kat both made the difficult decision to pawn their wedding rings in order to raise cash for Mo.

Stacey split from husband Martin Fowler (James Bye) after her shock kiss with Max (Jake Wood) at Christmas, while Kat admitted last week that she was also on a break from her marriage to Alfie (Shane Richie).
