EastEnders' Ben Mitchell will find out Lola Pearce's plans to leave Walford.

In scenes airing next week, Lola (Danielle Harold) continues to struggle with Jay Brown (Jamie Borthwick) and Ruby Allen's (Louisa Lytton) romance.

When Jay expresses his discomfort to Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick) about Ruby's wealth, Billy tries to use this to cheer Lola up. Jay and Ruby then have an argument, after Ruby finds out Jay has been talking about how much money she has.

Lola ends up with a job offer at the salon following a trial. But after seeing Jay and Ruby making up, it appears that she's had enough.

When Lexi Pearce (Isabella Brown) tells Ben (Max Bowden) that she and Lola are planning to move away from Walford and back to Newcastle, Ben begs Lola to change her mind.

Ben comes up with a desperate plan to make Lola stay, and brings Billy into it...

Lola, alongside Ben, returned to Albert Square in April, and star Danielle Harold said that she was grateful to be back.

"I was a little bit nervous about what people were going to say, because it's been so long and you think, 'Oh do people remember the character?'," she told Digital Spy. "Everyone was really lovely and supportive. I was really excited."

EastEnders airs on BBC One.
