EastEnders schemer Max Branning gets even nastier with Steven Beale in heated scenes next week.

Max (Jake Wood) has become determined to drag Steven into his games after discovering that he's been lying to Lauren about having a brain tumour.

Steven (Aaron Sidwell) also hasn't helped matters by making a failed attempt to blackmail Max over his secret relationship with Fi Browning, which has only increased the animosity between the two men.

Now wanting to show Steven who's boss, Max threatens to reveal the truth to Lauren unless he helps him out with a risky task.

Will Steven work with Max in order to save his relationship with Lauren? Or will Max's dodgy dealings be a step too far even for Steven?

Coming up on Coronation Street, Liz McDonald realises that she's made a costly mistake when money suddenly disappears from her bank account.

Liz (Beverley Callard) is happily doing some online shopping during a shift at the medical centre when she's baffled to have her card suddenly declined.

As Liz questions her workmate Rana Nazir over what could be wrong, she admits that she's only just used her bank details to sign up for some free vape cartridges, so it should all be fine.

A horrified Rana is left to explain that Liz has just fallen for a nasty scam after being fooled by a supposed "promotional poster" that was put up on the notice board at the medical centre.

When Liz then checks frantically her online statement, her worst fears are confirmed as her bank has been emptied. Does she stand any chance of getting the money back?

Meanwhile, Emmerdale's Harriet Finch couldn't be prouder when her partner Cain Dingle apologises to Bishop Barry.

Cain (Jeff Hordley) had a few harsh words for Barry last month when the Bishop expressed his strong disapproval over Harriet's decision to date the local bad boy.

Next week, Cain comes face-to-face with the Bishop once again as he drops off Sarah Sugden for choir practice at the church.

Although things start off pretty tense, Cain makes a jaw-dropping move by offering out an olive branch and apologising for the disrespectful comments he made in the heat of the moment.

Cain even earns himself an apology of his own from Bishop Barry, who admits that he may have gone too far himself.

Harriet (Katherine Dow Blyton) can't believe that Cain has taken such a mature approach to the situation and it's clear that she's falling for him more than ever. But could more trouble for Cain and Harriet's relationship be just around the corner?
