EastEnders Christmas death 'confirmed' after BBC script leak as character set to be killed off
EastEnders has a habit of injecting a bit of tragedy into the festive season and, a leaked script appears to have conformed that a much loved Albert Square resident will die this Christmas. And bookies have now identified the character they think is most likely to be killed off.
Christmas hasn't always been a cheery affair in Walford, with most years bringing some bad tidings for at least one family. Memorable moments over the decades include Angie being served divorce papers by Den on Christmas Day, Jamie Mitchell dying in hospital after being ran over by Martin Fowler, Abi Branning falling to her death and Mick Carter going into the English Channel never to be seen again.
Christmas 2023 has to be up there as one of the most dramatic so far, when The Six storyline drew to a frantic conclusion, which saw Linda Carter kill Keanu Taylor, to stop him from throttling Sharon.

And, according to bookies BonusFinder, it's Queen Vic regular Linda, Mick's wife, who is set for a grisly end before the year is through. She was noticeably absent from photographs of cast members filming a funeral recently, as the actors who play her on screen children returned to the soap.
This, coupled with an EastEnders script being found which mentioned a death has led BonusFinder to make Linda their number one candidate to be killerd off. She is currently Evens to die at Christmas, with Tommy Moon on 11/8 and Alfie Moon on 13/8.
In episodes shown this week, BBC viewers have seen Linda battle with alcoholism, after the return of Keanu's sister Bernie to Albert Square, with the murdered mechanic's sibling intent on getting justice for her brother.
