EastEnders' Cindy Beale will use a shocking new discovery to her advantage next week.
Upcoming scenes will see Ian and Cindy try to finalise their plans to go into business with the Panesar family.
Cindy is desperate to lay down some roots in Walford, in the hope it will improve her relationship with estranged daughters Gina and Anna.
When Peter learns what his parents are up to, he's wary due to his past with Suki. Viewers may remember that Peter had a secret fling with Suki back in 2021, before beginning a relationship with her daughter Ash.
After learning about Suki's surprising history with Peter, Cindy believes she can use it to her advantage.
Soon, she's launching a bid to get investment from the Panesar family by using Peter and Suki's past as leverage against Vinny.
Michelle Collins, who plays Cindy, previously hinted that her character would return to her scheming ways.
"She is no walkover and she is very emotional because of everything she has been through", Michelle said.
"But definitely expect bits of the old Cindy to come back. I think people would be disappointed if it didn't. People loved that side of her but you need to make it three-dimensional.
"There are traits of her old character there and I think that's what people want. I don't want to disappoint people, but I think they have got it right actually in how they approached it and I hope people will like her. "
Michelle added: "I think you definitely saw a softer side to her in the France episodes and the slightly more vulnerable side, but actually she does gain momentum and a lot more strength as time goes on.
"Despite what people say, she does love her kids and she will do anything she can."
