EastEnders confirms final Nish Panesar twist in early iPlayer release

EastEnders spoilers follow for Wednesday’s episode (February 5), which is available to watch now on streaming service BBC iPlayer and hasn’t yet aired on TV.

EastEnders has aired a final twist involving Nish Panesar, as his final wishes were revealed in today’s episode.

This week, Denise grew concerned about her secret partner Ravi’s dodgy dealings, while she grew closer to her ex-husband Jack when he helped her out at the salon.

Meanwhile, Priya also confronted Ravi about getting involved with drugs, and an emotional conversation between the two exes ended in a passionate kiss.

In today’s episode, tensions were still high between Ravi and Nugget as they prepared for Nish’s will reading later that day. Ravi and Priya chatted, and he was keen to keep their kiss a secret.

As the Panesars gathered, Bernie arrived at the house and the solicitor explained that she had been asked to attend as Nish amended his will before he died.

She announced that while Nugget, Avani and Tye would continue to be the beneficiaries of Nish’s businesses, Bernie had been appointed as the trustee until the grandchildren turn 18. This naturally shocked the family, who falsely believe that Nish killed her brother Keanu.

There was another shock in store as the solicitor revealed that Nish had left his personal estate to be shared between his children Vinny and Ash – meaning that Ravi had been completely cut out of the will.

Ravi was hurt by his dad’s wishes and was comforted by Priya, but when she tried to kiss him again, he was forced to tell her that he was in a serious relationship with someone else.

He wanted to make amends with Denise and climbed through her window with a rose to make a romantic gesture. She was initially shocked, but Ravi won her round, and they decided to pursue their relationship properly.

However, Bernie spotted Ravi climbing through the window and told the family that she thought someone had broken into their house.

As everyone gathered outside, Callum and Jack were determined to catch the so-called criminal. But when Denise and Ravi came out, it was revealed that they had been seeing each other.

"I’m in love with Denise," Ravi announced. "We’re together."
