EastEnders confirms Nish's sinister revenge against Vinny
EastEnders spoilers follow for Tuesday’s (September 17) episode.
EastEnders has confirmed that Nish Panesar will seek revenge against his son Vinny, with the sinister villain taking a bold new step.
Nish returned to Albert Square earlier this year to inform estranged wife Suki and their children that he is terminally ill, though he has still bothered his family in the subsequent weeks.
Sensing an opportunity to get one over on their former tormentor, Suki and Vinny have attempted to play Nish by securing a piece of his empire, but Nish became aware of their plan and has been scheming ever since.

In Tuesday’s (September 17) episode, Nish approached Suki and her fiancée Eve, discovering that they are planning a surprise party for Vinny - an event to which Nish wasn’t invited. He subsequently received a phone call, which pertained to his business empire.
After the call ended, he was faced one-on-one with Eve, who urged him to stay away from the house during Vinny’s party. She remarked that he was “all talk” and had never cared for his family, a barb that angered Nish even more.
As he looked over the deed for his chicken shop, Nish’s thoughts were crystallised as he quipped that he would give his son a “happy birthday”. Knowing that the business was being watched by undercover cops, Nish's plan involved handing the deed to Vindy in order to frame him.

Vinny later discovered Suki and Eve's surprise, before quickly heading off to meet his father. After a terse beginning, Vinny - who was still attempting to get in Nish's good books - offered an olive branch to his father, sharing that he wanted him at the party.
This led Nish to revoke his 'gift', with the villain explaining to his associate that the plan had changed. The need for a “scapegoat” was reiterated, but just who will Nish attempt to put in the firing line?
EastEnders airs on Mondays-Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast.
