EastEnders confirms Ruby Allen's return to Walford next week
EastEnders spoilers follow.
EastEnders has confirmed Ruby Allen's return to Walford next week with first-look photos.
The sneak preview pictures tease Louisa Lytton reprising her hugely popular role as Ruby for the first time since 2021.
Ruby will burst into No.31 to confront her ex-husband Martin Fowler and his close friend Sharon Watts over her son's missing birth certificate.
Ruby seemingly gave birth to her and Martin's son while behind bars, after being framed by Jean Slater for growing cannabis. Jean had acted in retaliation for Ruby getting Stacy Slater locked up on a false assault claim.
These scenes are set to air next week on BBC One and the BBC iPlayer.

The soap recently dropped some hints about Ruby's return when it was revealed that she'd been Chrissie Watts's cellmate during her time in prison.
Ruby will also have scores to settle with former best friend Stacy Slater, in addition to reckoning with the sale of her nightclub Ruby's, now known as Peggy's, to the Mitchell family.
Ahead of the character's return to screens, Louisa Lytton promised that Ruby will come back to Walford "with a lot of drama".
"Now she's a mum, she does have her priorities in order. Although she'll still make mistakes, I don't think she'll go out of her way to make mistakes or make wrong decisions like she has done in the past," the actor told The Sun's TV Mag.
"Being a mum has finally given Ruby a purpose in life, which I think has been something that's been missing for a long time."
EastEnders airs on Mondays-Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast.
