EastEnders - Elaine's pub plans become clear
EastEnders spoilers follow.
EastEnders will reveal Elaine Peacock's secret plans for the Queen Vic in upcoming scenes.
Elaine, now played by Harriet Thorpe, will arrive back in Walford this week and reveal herself as the new co-owner of the pub.
This sparks tension with both Linda's best friend Sharon and the Panesar family, who both believed they were in with a chance of owning the business.
As Elaine and Linda deal with the fallout of a subsequent break-in at The Vic, Linda is upset when Elaine seems unfazed by the ruined picture of Mick.
Elaine soon becomes an instant success with the men of Walford as she charms them with free drinks, but Linda grows irritated when her mum starts to change the normal running of The Vic.
Elaine soon becomes convinced the Panesars are behind the break-in and her suspicions are confirmed following a conversation with Eve.
As Elaine becomes determined to take Nish down, a worried Eve tries to persuade her to drop the vendetta against the Panesars – insisting that Linda doesn't need the extra stress right now.
With Eve's words ringing true, Elaine has a heart-to-heart with Linda about losing Mick and they both vow to support each other.
However, Elaine later makes a phone call to a mystery man and shares her hopes that he'll move into The Vic as well.
Elaine also wants rid of Alfie, who works behind the bar, and is unimpressed when he turns up late to his shift.
Keen to impress her, Alfie tries to work his charm and suggests a cocktail night by mixing some signature drinks for Kat and Phil as a toast to Peggy.
Kat senses Elaine's hesitation towards Alfie and subtly sticks up for him, but is Elaine's mind made up already?
