EastEnders spoilers follow.

EastEnders' Denise Fox will struggle to hide her guilt in upcoming scenes, knowing her daughter Chelsea was responsible for the club crush at Peggy's.

As viewers will know, Chelsea messed with the booking system for Penny Branning's club night at Peggy’s, resulting in a terrifying crowd crush as too many tickets were released.

A number of Walford residents were severely injured in the crush, including Amy Mitchell, and Penny is now being blamed by Jack.

However, Denise and Chelsea are the only two people who know what really happened, as a guilty Chelsea decided to tell her mum the truth about her involvement.

In scenes airing next week, Denise arrives back home early after hearing the news about Pastor Clayton, who recently took his own life after being charged for sexually assaulting Yolande and two other victims.

During a heart-to-heart, Yolande talks to Denise about the importance of honesty and truth, causing a guilty Denise to vaguely open about her lies over the club crush.

With Yolande’s words ringing loudly in her ears, Denise decides to tell Jack the truth about Chelsea causing the crush.

Meanwhile, Jack is overwhelmed with the demands of caring for Amy and running the house by himself, so he reluctantly agrees to let Penny come over to support Amy.

Although Jack is pleased to find Amy in better spirits thanks to Penny’s visit, he ruins the mood by causing a huge row with Penny.

After hearing about Penny and Jack’s continuing issues, Denise makes it her mission to fix their relationship and gets them both to come to Denzel's 16th birthday party.

Later, Jack tells Denise how grateful he is for everything she’s done for their family and gives a moving speech about how amazing she is.

Will Denise still come clean to Jack about the club crush?
