EastEnders spoilers follow.

EastEnders stars Lorraine Stanley and Zack Morris have teased a shocking new story for the Taylor clan when the show returns in the autumn.

The pair will be sitting down with presenter Stacey Dooley tonight (August 10) to discuss their time on the BBC soap, in the latest edition of Secrets from the Square.

Teasing what viewers can expect to see from Lorraine's alter-ego Karen when we catch up with her post-lockdown in September, the actress said: "She's going to be challenged, that's all I can say. "

When Stacey asked if the Taylor kids would face challenges as well, Zack, who plays Keegan, replied: "Yeah, it's going to really expose the Taylor family and expose some dark secrets that have been going on."

Fans last saw Karen and Keegan with big decisions to make about their future, as both their respective relationships were hanging in the balance.

While Billy had urged Karen to choose between him and her ex-partner Mitch, Keegan devastated his young wife Tiffany by asking for space from their marriage.

The good news, however, is that Keegan and Tiffany appear to be back on track when we catch up with them in the autumn.

"They've made up", Zack said. "They were having some problems and relationship issues. They've made up and they have moved back in together, so it could be quite nice. It's EastEnders though so they will be something to test them."

EastEnders: Secrets from the Square continues tonight at 8pm on BBC One.
