Could Lauren Branning have caught the attention of a real-life Clark Kent?

Well, fans certainly think her new possible love interest looks exactly like Superman, though they have wondered if that could mean he's hiding a secret identity.

Friday night's second episode (March 17) saw Lauren (Jacqueline Jossa) pay a visit to Max at work to find out whether he was telling the truth about his new job and while she was there she managed to help a nice chap to fix the photocopier.

The mystery man and Lauren shared an instant chemistry, and fans have since been left wondering whether Lauren will cheat on her boyfriend Steven Beale after she programmes his number into her phone.

Or, they would be wondering that, if they weren't too busy trying to figure out where they've seen this mystery man before:

While some viewers were just rather surprised at finding out where Clark Kent has been hiding all this time - you know, when Tyler Hoechlin isn't playing him on Supergirl - others were wondering if his arrival could mean bad things for Lauren.

After all, he bears quite the resemblance to former Hollyoaks star James Atherton, otherwise known as serial killer Will Savage, and Will Savage's face isn't really one you can trust, is it?

So, that's the question: is photocopier guy completely innocent? Or is he up to something far shadier? Like maybe he's actually involved with Max's revenge plot, which would make the whole Clark Kent look a brilliant way of tricking Lauren (and the viewers).

We've already revealed that Lauren arranges a night out on the town with her friend Whitney Carter next week, when she is secretly hiding an ulterior motive.

Whitney is very disapproving when she figures out why Lauren wanted to visit one bar in particular – could this new guy-with-no-real-name have something to do with it?
