Death in the family for Gray
Bad things tend to happen when Gray is pushed to his limits. So, those in the company of the psychopathic solicitor perhaps ought to be watching their back after he’s dealt a couple of blows.
First, we’ll see his money worries intensifying, with Chelsea’s indifference to paying him back everything she spent leaving him riled. Then he receives news that leaves him feeling devastated – his dad has died.

By Friday, Gray is opening up to Whitney and telling her that he didn’t expect to be so cut up by his father’s death. The two of them will then share a kiss after Gray sorts through his dad’s belongings, and Karen is delighted to spy the pair together. But we all know that Whit really should be running for the hills.
Janine and Liam team up
Those wondering when Janine would revert to type get their answer here when she cooks up a nefarious plan after being turned down for a job at the car lot.
She confides her scheme in Liam, who sets things in motion by talking up Janine’s selling skills to an unsuspecting Jay. She, meanwhile, decides to manipulate Billy – but he’s quick to issue her with an ultimatum: either she quits her plotting, or he’ll tell Jay everything.
But Janine isn’t someone who can be told what to do and, by Friday, she’s found a sneaky way to get what she wants. But what exactly is she after?
Harvey gets the sack
In the wake of what happened to Ash in Harvey’s cab last week, Kat is set to confront her employee in the Queen Vic. Harvey tries to explain that what he said was taken the wrong way, but Kat isn’t having any of it and promptly sacks him on the spot.
Harvey then tells Dana that he’s been given the boot and she reminds him that he needs to be more careful about the things he says. After being persuaded by his daughter to talk to Ash, Harvey attempts to clear the air with her and she appears set to accept her apology. But Peter is outraged and chucks Harvey out.
Later on, Harvey tells Kathy that he’s had the day from hell. But when he then realises that Dana has been over to see Bobby, Harvey realises he’s been lied to about what his daughter has been getting up to and storms out.
Dana’s brother Aaron arrives – and makes a play for Tiffany
Former Hollyoaks star Charlie Wernham arrives in Walford to play Dana’s brother Aaron, but she’s not exactly excited to see her sibling. And over a drink at the Queen Vic, the pair will soon be seen at loggerheads, with Aaron snapping at Dana for not taking their Dad’s side.
However, Aaron won’t be in everyone’s bad books. In fact, Tiffany is quite taken with the Albert Square newcomer, but tells her brother Liam that it’s too soon for her to be dating again after what happened with Keegan.
Aaron doesn’t see that as an obstacle though and after some persuading, Tiff eventually agrees to go out on a date with him.
