EastEnders spoilers follow.
EastEnders' villainous Gray Atkins is going to make another sinister move, as he attempts to crush the spirit of his new wife Chelsea.
In upcoming scenes, the couple will learn that their newborn baby Jordan, who was born with serious complications, is improving and will hopefully be just fine.
Gray tells her that he can't wait for the three of them to start their new life together, which sends shivers up Chelsea's spine, as she's now fully aware of what Gray did to his previous wife Chantelle. She tries to meet up with Whitney Dean in secret, while Gray gets annoyed at Kim and Denise Fox poking around.
Denise invites the newlyweds for dinner at hers, but Gray takes the opportunity to paint Chelsea in a negative light, and twist the situation to isolate her from her friends and family.
Will he completely destroy any resistance from Chelsea, or will the people who know the truth successfully band together and take him down?
January sees the return of full-length 30-minute long episodes, as the soap has been airing shorter 20-minute episodes since production was halted and restarted due to the pandemic.
It's important to note, however, that not every episode will be full-length, as Tuesday instalments will still be shorter.
EastEnders airs on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays on BBC One.
