EastEnders hints that Whitney will commit fraud

Whitney Carter may be about to resort to fraud on EastEnders after sneakily snatching Vincent Hubbard's credit card.

Whitney made her shocking move in the closing moments of Monday night's episode (April 10) after hearing Kim Fox boasting about her husband's wealth.

When Kim returned from a shopping trip and loudly went through her purchases in front of Denise, she admitted that Vincent probably wouldn't notice her spending spree as he doesn't even check his bank statements.

This comment didn't go unnoticed by an eavesdropping Whitney, who had her heart set on buying an expensive dog pen – believing it would help Lady Di feel more settled with Mick and Linda currently away.

Luckily for Whitney, it seemed that Vincent is pretty bad all round when it comes to his card, as he also soon left it unattended on the bar at The Vic.

Rather than doing the right thing by handing it back, Whitney covertly covered it with a coaster before snatching it when nobody was looking.

We've already seen the Carter family resort to various desperate measures to solve their financial problems in recent months – from payday loans, to poker nights and even illegal boozy breakfasts.

But is Whitney about to stoop to a new low by stealing from Vincent, or will she be hit with an attack of the guilty conscience at the last minute?

Whatever happens, we can't help but feel that Aunt Babe would be proud if she could see Whitney now...
