EastEnders spoilers follow.
Isaac Baptise's family have learned that he will be sectioned following his arrest in EastEnders.
Tragic scenes aired earlier this week when Isaac was tasered and arrested after he'd been holed up in Ruby Allen's house looking for evidence about the death of his brother Paul.
Prior to the incident, Isaac had been struggling with increasing auditory hallucinations because he'd decided to stop taking his schizophrenia medication.
His family were determined to find out why Isaac had been tasered in Thursday's episode (July 15), since he had not threatened police prior to his arrest.
They arrived at the hospital to find Isaac in a disoriented state because he was handcuffed to his hospital bed. Isaac alarmed Patrick by saying he'd be better off with his dead brother Paul.
Meanwhile, Isaac's girlfriend Lola was waiting at the family home for news on his condition, until Sheree once again shut her out.
"If it wasn't for you, Isaac wouldn't be where he is now," Sheree angrily hit out, with Lola insisting: "Now, that's not fair."
When Sheree visited the hospital later, she received the heartbreaking news that her son would be sectioned. While Sheree objected and was intent on getting Isaac out, Patrick took a different approach.
"He wanted to be with Paul," Patrick confided in a stunned Sheree. "If we take him home like this, and he hurt himself, I'm not going to be able to forgive myself.
Sheree quietly folded up the paper she'd been writing her appeal notes on, as she finally realised Isaac needed help.
EastEnders continues on Friday on BBC One.
