EastEnders fans will have to wait a while longer to catch up with the latest action in Walford as there is no episode this evening (February 19).

The BBC soap usually airs at 8pm on a Monday night, but tonight's slot will be taken up with live football coverage of the Wigan Athletic vs Manchester City FA Cup game.

Friday night's episode saw Lauren Branning leave Walford after Abi's funeral – opting to depart alone, as opposed to with Josh as planned.

However, viewers will have to wait a little longer to see how the Square is coping without her, as EastEnders isn't back on until tomorrow.

EastEnders will resume as normal on Tuesday, February 20 and then have a midweek episode slotted in on Wednesday, February 21 to make up for its absence on Monday.

An hour-long EastEnders will air on Thursday, February 22 from 7.30pm, with no episode on Friday due to BBC One's coverage of the Six Nations rugby match between France and Italy.

Tonight actually marks the first of a number of schedule changes this week, with Coronation Street and Emmerdale affected as well. You can keep track of the full schedule here.

EastEnders continues tomorrow night at 7.30pm on BBC One.
