Kathy Beale is about to lock horns with rapist Lewis Butler in upcoming EastEnders scenes.

Set for broadcast next Thursday (June 8) on BBC One, it all starts with her son Ben Mitchell – who was recently sexually assaulted by bartender Lewis – waking up after stopping over at The Arches.

Upon hearing newcomer Dave banging on the door for his wages, Ben panics, but the commotion quickly comes to an end when Jay pays him what he's owed.

Kheerat arrives on the scene shortly after, and he's alarmed by Ben's appearance, suggesting he needs to take a bit of time off work.

Elsewhere in Walford, although Kathy doesn't yet know the truth, she still has Ben at the forefront of her thinking. Kathy attempts to sack Lewis, but he rebuffs this idea while highlighting how he could take legal action against her.

As an alternative, she then gives him a warning. But will things change again when Kathy later realises what Lewis did?
