EastEnders have released brand new pics showing Ben Mitchell in a dangerous situation tomorrow night (February 28).

Ben (Max Bowden) is currently experiencing additional loss of hearing, after suffering a head injury on the boat during the 35th anniversary week.

Tomorrow night's episode will see Ben continue to struggle with his hearing loss, which was confirmed at a doctor's appointment earlier in the week.

As Ben wrestles with his decisions over what to do moving forward, Kathy is alarmed to see him step out in front of a motorbike.

Horrified, Kathy quickly rushes to save him, but will she get there in time?

EastEnders has been altering the audio in Ben's scenes, to reflect his struggles in hearing other characters.

The story is also paving the way for the introduction of a new character called Frankie, played by deaf actress Rose Ayling-Ellis.

EastEnders has also been working with the National Deaf Children's Society in addition to experts in the field on the storyline.

The storyline was initially pitched by writer Charlie Swinbourne, who called it "a lifelong dream".

"It’s been an incredible experience to work with the EastEnders team over the last few months," he said. "Being deaf myself, and a fan of the show from an early age, I've always looked out for Ben Mitchell's character because he was the one who wore hearing aids!"

EastEnders airs these scenes tomorrow night at 7.30pm on BBC One.
