Yahoo News EastEnders' Keanu announces Albie kidnap in dramatic scenes

EastEnders airs a kidnap storyline for Keanu Taylor and Sharon Watts' young son Albie next week.
Keanu shares the worrying news that Albie has been snatched after spending the day with him.
Albie has recently been at the centre of tensions between Keanu and Sharon, as they bitterly disagreed over plans for his future when Sharon revealed her decision to take him out of the country for a year.
Fearful that he could be cut out of Albie's life, Keanu schemed with his mum Karen and hatched a plan to get Sharon back on side. Keanu pretended to want a romantic reunion with Sharon, buying him some time as he tried to get his name on Albie's birth certificate.

Next week, Keanu updates Karen by confirming that he intends to put his latest plan into action sooner rather than later.
He then asks Sharon whether he can take Albie out for the day before they leave for Abu Dhabi, but she insists that there isn't any time.
Keanu gets a chance to prove his loyalty to Sharon when boxing promoter Dorian Gates turns threatening with her in a row over money.
As Dorian arrives at the Boxing Den with heavies to back him up, Keanu steps in to defend Sharon.

Dorian hints at what he's capable of when he warns Sharon not to go to the police, reminding her that he knows where she and Albie live.
Keanu puts on a caring act as he walks Sharon home, but when she gets distracted, he has a chance to put his plan into action.
Later in the week, the day arrives for Keanu to execute his full plan. By this point, Karen is having second thoughts as she questions whether Keanu is doing the right thing.
Keanu picks up Albie from Sharon's place to take him to a birthday party. Sharon is furious when one of the other mums tells her that Keanu made an excuse about the party and took Albie off elsewhere.

When Keanu arrives back on the Square, he tells Sharon that something terrible has happened. He says that he took Albie to the park and when he turned his back for a second, the youngster disappeared.
Sharon calls the police to report Albie missing, while the residents of Walford band together to help find him.
Keanu reminds Sharon that Dorian threatened to harm Albie, so she shares this information with the police and they pursue it as a line of enquiry.

Later, Sharon and Keanu comfort each other and Zack Hudson finds a note pushed through the door, which demands £50,000 for Albie's safe return.
Has Dorian taken Albie to demand a ransom – or is this all part of Keanu's cruel plan against Sharon?
