EastEnders' Linda Carter to make discovery about Mick

·2-min read

EastEnders spoilers follow.

Linda Carter will make a startling discovery about her estranged husband Mick.

The last several weeks have seen Linda struggling to watch as Mick has moved on with Janine Butcher in front of her, though she doesn't know the new couple are having intimacy problems of their own.

Janine will look to gain the upper hand next week when he overhears Jada Lennox admitting concerns about Linda being around the children while she's drunk.

Looking to seize the opportunity, Janine urges Jada to share her concerns with Martin Fowler. Martin can't help but agree about the danger of the situation, so after a discussion with Linda, they agree to give her one more chance.

However, if Linda were to mess up again, Zack and Martin would have no other choice but to kick her out! Linda and Nancy Carter, Zack's partner, are both horrified by the ultimatum they've been given.

Over at the Vic, Mick is trying to distract from his own problems by planning a Platinum Jubilee party, with Janine offering to help organise the festivities. Janine isn't happy when Linda also wants to get involved, given her love of all things royal.

Mick and Linda rekindle some old feelings while setting up for the Jubilee party, only for Mick to cut it off because he feels guilty. As Linda does some digging later on, she discovers Mick has been researching intimacy problems.

Janine sets in motion a downward spiral for Linda with some nasty words, provoking Linda to drink and return home noticeably impaired in front of Jada.

When Mick and Janine go out on a date that evening, they're not prepared to have an unsettling run-in with Linda.

These scenes air on Wednesday, May 11 and Thursday, May 12 on BBC One.
