Yahoo News EastEnders' Lola Pearce to get tragic news before seaside scenes

EastEnders' Lola Pearce will get devastating news next week, as the final chapter of her story begins.
Lola is currently receiving palliative treatment for the end of her life, but will learn in upcoming scenes that this has stopped working as well.
Prior to this, Kim will organise a leaving karaoke party for Lola, who has decided it's time to stop working at the salon.
Sadly, the events of the day become too much for Lola and she secretly retreats outside.
Denise, Honey and Kathy soon realise that Lola is missing and begin to panic when they can't find her.
As Jay and Billy join the search, Billy finds a confused Lola on the floor outside the gym.
Back at home, Lola panics as her speech and mobility is impaired.
A weak Lola later wakes up in hospital with Ben, Jay and Billy at her side and learns the devastating news that her palliative chemotherapy treatment hasn't worked.
At the end of the week, Jay decides to break Lola out of the hospital to enjoy a fun-filled day at the seaside.
Lola spots a ruby necklace which she hopes to buy for Lexi as a 16th birthday present.
Later, while at the seafront, Lola and Jay have a heart-to-heart.
Danielle Harold and Jamie Borthwick, who play Lola and Jay respectively, were spotted filming these scenes on location last month.
Further paparazzi pictures have since shown the cast and crew filming Lola's funeral, suggesting that the seaside scenes could be some of her last.
EastEnders airs on Mondays - Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer.
