The following article contains discussion of themes, including sexual assault, that some readers may find upsetting.
Eastenders star Max Bowden has praised his co-star Aidan O'Callaghan for his work in the role of Lewis Butler.
Max, who plays Ben Mitchell on the soap, is currently involved in a storyline which sees Ben raped by barman Lewis.
Also how wonderful has @Aidan_OCalla been? Taking on a roll like this comes with so much confusion and decision making. Aidan is a powerhouse and working with him taught me so much. A real master of his craft.

"How wonderful has @Aidan_OCalla been? Taking on a roll like this comes with so much confusion and decision-making. Aidan is a powerhouse and working with him taught me so much. A real master of his craft," he tweeted.
Max took to Twitter to share his thoughts after last night's (June 9th) episode of the soap, which saw Ben tell his mum Kathy Beale about the ordeal he's been through.
Thanking the charity Survivors UK for their guidance on the storyline, he said: "I just want to say thank you for the bottom of my heart for all your beautiful comments regarding Ben and Kathy's story this evening. Remember a problem shared is a problem halved. @SurvivorsMcr are incredible and can give anybody the guidance they need. No means no. Thank you."
EastEnders has been working with charities including Survivors UK, Survivors Manchester and the Male Survivors Partnership to ensure the storyline is covered as sensitively as possible.
Speaking about the storyline in April, Max said he was honoured to be given the opportunity to tell such an important story.
"Alongside some wonderful charities, and some very inspirational survivors of male sexual assault in the UK, I think we've been able to really strive to tell the most truthful account we can, and I hope we can raise awareness and understanding on a topic that is rarely covered," he said.
If you've been affected by the topics raised in this story, then numerous organisations can offer help and support, including SurvivorsUK (0203 598 3898 or firstname.lastname@example.org) Survivors Manchester (0808 800 5005 or email@example.com) and the Male Survivors Partnership (0808 800 5005 or firstname.lastname@example.org). In an emergency, please dial 999.
EastEnders airs on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One and streams on BBC iPlayer.
