EastEnders spoilers follow.

EastEnders' Mick Carter comes to a major conclusion next week, after Linda makes a discovery.

Mick (Danny Dyer) has spent weeks in turmoil, having acknowledged that Katy Lewis sexually abused him when he was in a care home as a teenager.

Mick's struggles almost led to the breakdown of his marriage to Linda (Kellie Bright), who started an affair with Max Branning when he stopped communicating with her.

With the Carters' marriage beginning to get back on track, they will be hit with a new challenge next week, when Frankie brings Jed into their lives.

As Frankie prepares to visit the crematorium for the anniversary of her brother Harry's death, she introduces Linda to Jed – Harry's brother.

However, as Jed explains that Harry's dad never had anything to do with him, alarm bells start ringing for Linda – who suspects that all is not as it seems.

With her interest piqued, Linda asks if she can go with them to the crematorium and is soon probing Jed for information on Harry's father.

Unsettled, Jed soon storms out and takes his anger out on a confused Frankie.

After her suspicions are confirmed, Linda tries to find the right moment to tell Mick about Jed.

Having spoken to Linda, Mick tries to talk everything through with Frankie but she is still determined for him not to report her mother to the police.
