Are EastEnders' Mick and Whitney heading for an affair?
EastEnders fans have been left more convinced than ever that a sordid affair is being lined up for Mick and Whitney Carter after last night's turn of events.
The BBC soap has been teasing the idea for the last few months, with the pair even sharing a brief kiss after the bus crash in January.
And now with Lee gone, Mick (Danny Dyer) is providing Whitney with all the support she needs as he offered a place to live in Tuesday's episode.
Whitney was left feeling more vulnerable than ever after Mick requested the money back on the flat she shared with Lee, meaning that she could be left with nowhere to live. Of course, it was later revealed to be part of a wider plan - and Mick never intended to leave Whitney homeless.
Instead, he proposed that she move into the Queen Vic with him - insisting that she was still a Carter, regardless of whether she was with Lee or not.
But with the duo set to be housemates, fans can't help but think it's a terrible idea - and to be honest, we're inclined to agree.
Mick & Whitney continue to get closer now she's moving in. Hurry home Linda #Eastenders

No wonder sly Mick wants Whitney to live in the Vic in #EastEnders. He wants her to be his saucy bit on the side.

Whether these worries are justified or not remains to be seen, but Whitney and Mick are looking closer than ever in our spoiler pictures for next week. And with Linda still set to be away for a while, could this story really be heading in the direction that everyone is fearing?
EastEnders continues tomorrow night (Thursday, February 23) at 7.30pm on BBC One.
