EastEnders' Navin Chowdhry suggests Nish exit after dramatic arrest
EastEnders spoilers follow for the latest aired episodes.
EastEnders actor Navin Chowdhry has suggested that his character Nish Panesar has exited the BBC One soap after his dramatic arrest.
This week's episodes saw the terminally ill Nish say he'd go to prison again and take the fall for Keanu Taylor's murder in exchange for Suki getting back with him so he could feel like he had his family all together again.

He changed his mind after hearing Suki intended to cut contact with him after his arrest, and later got violent with her, but Avani convinced him to do the right thing. The Halloween episode ended with him being taken away in a police car after he told the police he was responsible for Keanu's murder.
After the episode was broadcast, Chowdhry shared a still of Nish to his Instagram and wrote: "Nish Panesar 2022-2024."

However, fans on social media aren't convinced that Nish has made his last appearance, with some on X believing Nish turning himself in is "out of character" and that he has "something up his sleeve".
Other fans on X have been wondering whether Keanu's sister Bernie will accept this explanation when she arrives back on the Square in a couple of weeks.
The actor himself teased recently that his character has "never been more powerful than he is now, and he intends to use it". So is this really the last we'll see of Nish?
EastEnders airs on Mondays-Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast.
