EastEnders is lining up a nasty Christmas surprise for Denise Fox when she learns that Carmel and Shakil Kazemi are moving in with her.
Denise (Diane Parish) is looking forward to a romantic New Year's Eve celebration with Kush, but gets the mother of all shocks when she discovers his family are joining them – and for the foreseeable future.
Carmel has recently expressed her fears to Denise about having nowhere to live, following Masood Ahmed's recent bombshell that he wants his house back.
Sadly, Carmel's turmoil will continue over the festive season, putting her son Kush in a predicament when he learns that both she and Shakil don't have anywhere to stay.
Having stepped up to help the homeless pair, Kush dreads telling Denise that he's invited Carmel and Shakil to live with them, but he could live to regret not being immediately upfront with her.
As Kush plucks up the courage to come clean with Denise, he is soon distracted after returning home to find her waiting suggestively for him.
While we won't give away what happens next, one thing is for sure – Kush's decision not to tell Denise the truth backfires in spectacular style. How will Denise cope with living under the same roof as Carmel?
