EastEnders’ Reiss makes a shocking discovery in latest episode

EastEnders spoilers follow for Monday’s episode (November 4), which is available to watch now on streaming service BBC iPlayer and hasn’t yet aired on TV.

EastEnders’ Reiss Colwell has discovered some shocking new evidence in Debbie’s murder case in the show’s latest episode.

Earlier this year, Reiss killed his wife Debbie in her care home and managed to cover up his crime, but he was horrified when his fiancée Sonia was charged with her murder instead.

While Reiss has been leading a campaign to get Sonia out of prison, Bianca has grown suspicious of him and is convinced that he is responsible for Debbie's death.

After a chat with Bianca’s dad David last month, Reiss decided to spend some time in Peterborough to be closer to Sonia – but in today’s episode, he returned to Walford.

He cautiously arrived back in the house, and he got a shock when he was greeted by Bianca, who had been staying at No.25.

Reiss wanted to call a truce so they could focus on Sonia’s campaign together, and Bianca reluctantly agreed to be civil with him.

He then received a text from Teddy asking him to meet in The Vic, where he explained that the private investigator he hired had acquired CCTV footage from a warehouse near the care home.

As they prepared to visit the office, Bianca heard about the new evidence and wanted to tag along, but Reiss made sure that they left without her.

Reiss looked through the footage alone, and he was shocked to discover that he could be seen on camera walking into the care home on the night of Debbie’s death.

Panicked at this new evidence, Reiss grabbed the flash drive and made a run for it, not telling Teddy that he was leaving.

Back at the house, when furious Bianca demanded to know why Reiss gave her the swerve, he lied and said that there was nothing of use in the CCTV. Once alone, Reiss deleted the footage and destroyed the flash drive.

Later, Bianca found out through Teddy that Reiss ran off with the flash drive, and she realised that there must be something incriminating in the footage.

She charged over to the house and confronted Reiss, so he locked himself inside. Will Bianca find out the truth?
