EastEnders reveals aftermath of Denise being caught out over affair

EastEnders spoilers follow.

EastEnders has revealed the aftermath of Jack Branning appearing to catch out his wife Denise Fox's infidelity.

Earlier this week, copper Jack seemingly caught out his wife Denise rushing out to resume her affair with local badboy Ravi Gulati.

However, Denise tried to turn the tables by insisting she'd only booked in some beauty treatments at a local hotel to get away from the stress of the Square.

"I ain't some suspect, you know," she insisted. "This house, it ain't your interview room."

When Jack directly asked Denise if she was seeing "another bloke" behind his back, she insisted he was just being paranoid.

"I promise you, I swear, I just don't even know how you could think that," she shot back.

The argument got more heated as the two each insisted the other wasn't being sensitive to their needs, leaving Jack to demand Denise go ahead with her night away at the hotel.

"Order another cab, or I will, because you're going," he demanded.

Denise reluctantly went along with Jack's insistence that she carry on with her night away, though her husband had no clue she'd actually be off to meet Ravi.

Once she arrived for the tryst, Denise admitted to Ravi she wasn't even sure why she'd turned up. As Ravi tried to sweet talk her, he leaned in to kiss her on the cheek.

Denise got nervous when they started kissing, so she excused herself to the loo to catch her breath. Although she returned and got in bed with Ravi, Denise lost her nerve.

"I don't think I can do this," she explained. "I don't want this feeling I feel. I feel dirty. I feel sick."

Denise got dressed and rushed out of the hotel back to No.27 to make peace with Jack. She rejected a call from Ravi and then climbed into bed with her husband, still wracked with guilt.
