Yahoo News EastEnders reveals gun drama for Mick and Linda
EastEnders couple Mick and Linda Carter face another crisis next week when Aidan Maguire's games cause problems for their marriage.
Mick (Danny Dyer) has agreed to be part of a dodgy job that Aidan has planned, but he's desperate to make sure that Linda doesn't find out about him turning to the dark side.
Sadly for Mick, keeping his plans quiet isn't going to be an easy task as Aidan (Patrick Bergin) starts to pile on the pressure in upcoming episodes.
In Tuesday night's visit to Walford, Mick is forced to miss his latest meeting with Aidan and the other men, as he's roped in to helping Linda with plans for their vow renewal.
Fearing this looks bad, Mick apologises to Aidan and assures him that he's still committed to the job.
Mick's words seemingly satisfy Aidan, but the dangerous reality of the planned job hits home when Aidan hands him a "Christmas present" – a gun.
Later in the week, Linda (Kellie Bright) takes a peek at what she thinks is her Christmas gift from Mick and is horrified to find the weapon.
Linda's appalled reaction leads to Mick trying to cut ties with Aidan and his criminal plans, but the Carters' involvement is only just beginning…
EastEnders airs these scenes on Tuesday, December 19 and Thursday, December 21 at 7.30pm on BBC One.
