EastEnders sabotage revealed as Max targets Queen Vic
Max Branning's plot against the Queen Vic appears to be taking shape on EastEnders.
Next week will see the pressure grow for Mick Carter (Danny Dyer), when he realises that the problems with The Vic are worse than he first thought.
Mick is currently plagued by various other financial woes, and so the leaks at the pub would be very costly to fix.
Help may come from an unlikely source, though. Firstly, Konrad (Piotr Baumann) invites Shirley (Linda Henry) out for dinner and offers to fix the ceiling for half the price.
And Jack (Scott Maslen) also offers Mick a lifeline. Good news, right?
Not quite yet. Max tries to put off Jack from giving a helping hand, and this is one of the first signs that he's trying to make life difficult for the Carters.
How sneaky.
But will Jack realise what his brother is up to?
Fans have seen Max scheming against Albert Square, teaming up with a mysterious new character who has some big and concerning plans for Walford.
Glenda Mitchell (Glynis Barber) left Walford last week, but had some rather strong words for Max before her exit.
"Don't think I haven't noticed," she told a confused Max. "You're the one pulling the strings around here. You don't fool me! When Jack's out of this fog, he'll see it too!"
EastEnders airs these scenes on Tuesday, February 21 at 7.30pm and Friday, February 24 at 7.30pm on BBC One.
