This week, Ben loses control when a row with Rocky Cant leads to him accidentally striking his mum Kathy Beale! In his abject shame, Ben takes drugs during a drunken night with schoolmate James.

Next week, Ben spots Sam doing a business deal for drugs with rival crime boss Jonah's dealer, Tez. When Phil peppers Ben with questions about his recent outbursts, Ben turns the tables on why Sam would be dealing with Jonah.

Phil brings the questions to Sam, forcing her to scramble for an excuse. Sam decides keeping Ben close will contain him, so she offers him the job co-managing Peggy's with her.

Meanwhile, Zack is desperate for the cash to buy back his old car from Rocky so he plans to ask Sam for an advance on his wages. Both Zack and Chelsea are shocked when Ben turns up as their new boss.

Zack becomes increasingly angry because he can't get the money, especially as Ben riles him up over the cash trouble. Zack finally has enough, as he punches Ben on the floor of Peggy's!

After Zack storms out, a stunned Kat intervenes to give Ben some home truths. Sam is quick to confront Zack, yet he shares his own suspicions that Ben has been allowing drug dealing in the club.

Little does Zack know that Sam is the one who introduced drugs into Peggy's nightclub in the first place! Before Sam can even throw Zack off the scent, the police raid her club!
