EastEnders’ Samantha Womack’s Stalker Pleads Guilty
The man who was accused of stalking EastEnders’ star, Samantha Womack, has pleaded guilty to all charges and has been given a suspended sentence.
22-year-old Peter Rombough admitted to traveling 93 miles to deliver the actress, who plays Ronnie Mitchell in the popular BBC One soap, handwritten love notes in Bedfordshire.

Understandably, Samantha was left shaken by Rombough and told the court that she feared for the safety of her two children, Benjamin and Lily.
In a statement read in court, she also added: “These events have had a massive impact. I can’t stop thinking about it.
“He’s a total stranger but I’m concerned about his well-being and do hope he is okay and needs to seek some help.”
Prosecutor Josephine Jones also revealed that Rombough first went looking for the 43-year-old’s home in May, but didn’t find it until September 3rd.
Just one week later, Samantha recalled seeing a light outside her home in the early hours of the morning and she sent her husband Mark to investigate what was going on.
Mark found the defendant sitting on a wall and told him to leave, but frightening CCTV footage showed that he loitered in a nearby area.
In an earlier hearing, Rombough admitted that he started having fantasies about Samantha in 2009 when he was just sixteen-years-old.
He was sentenced to an eight-week prison sentence suspended for two years at Great Yarmouth Magistrates’ Court yesterday, with Magistrate Robin Hornby also enforcing a two-year restraining order.
